June graduated from Antioch University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology. She is a graduate of U of T in Physical and Occupational Therapy and has a B.Sc in Rehabilitation from UBC. Since 1982 she has owned and operated the Secret Garden Holistic Spa, which now includes The Selah Group Counseling Service. As well as her private practice, she has worked in the community and schools to promote the health of the individual.
